Predictions for society affect the future of individuals, households and institutions and can shape societies and lead to sustainability and prosperity. However, current forecasts often lack transparency. As part of the project, we are working with citizens to design a publicly accessible and intuitively usable transparent forecast system using the example of COVID-19 forecasts. The starting point is the NowCastHub forecast system, which is already publicly accessible: http://www.covid19nowcasthub.de/.
