Research
The mission of WIN is to create relevant scientific knowledge for a value-creating interaction between information technology and social entities. We follow an interdisciplinary approach and establishes bridges between computer science, economics and management as well as humanities and social sciences.
Researchers at WIN publish in international top journals and conferences and are active members of global research communities. WIN contributes to the development of unique research infrastructures at KIT. The DFG-funded Karlsruhe Design & Decision Lab (KD2lab) is one of the largest computer-based experimental laboratories world-wide. We provide excellent conditions and psycho-physiological sensors for experiments, particularly for research on human behaviour and decision-making in economics and NeuroIS.
