Artificial intelligence (AI) has been shaping our private and professional lives to an ever-greater extent in recent years. At the same time, the rapid development of AI poses numerous challenges for both companies and society. Pursuing a human-centered AI paradigm offers the potential to realize a fruitful symbiosis between humans and AI. 

As part of the UIG Symposium on September 5th 2024 in Karlsruhe, we will therefore address the question of how effective and responsible interaction between people and AI can be achieved and how a successful implementation of a human-centered AI in companies can be successfully achieved. UIG e.V. supports companies in successfully integrating user-centeredness into their organization and implementing user-centered digital systems, products and services.
